Browse without an account. The price on the card is the price the owner set, and nothing is added at the end.
What you do
Check the mileage allowance, the cancellation terms and what insurance the owner has on file. All three are on the listing, and all three are the owner's own rather than ours.
A wishlist needs an account, and that is the only thing it needs.
You can message an owner before booking anything. Contact details stay closed until a booking is confirmed, so a message carrying a phone number or a link is refused at send.
What you do
Ask what their insurance covers and whether they deliver. Those two answers change the trip more than anything else on the page.
You complete an identity check before your first request reaches an owner, and the owner completed the same kind of check before their RV could go live. RVmigo keeps the outcome and never the document images, the licence number or your date of birth.
What you do
Do this before you find the RV you want rather than after. It takes a few minutes, and it is the one thing that can hold up a request you are in a hurry to send.
Pick your dates, add anything you want, and choose pickup or delivery. You see the full total before you send it, and sending it commits you to nothing.
What you do
Add your phone number when you are asked for it. The owner cannot see it until they accept, and a request without one cannot be sent at all.
If the listing says Instant Book, your dates are confirmed the moment you send them and there is nothing to wait for.
An owner can send you a quote for your trip at their own number rather than the list price. Accepting it turns it into an ordinary booking.
They have 24 hours, and your request expires on its own if they don't reply. Nothing is committed either way until they accept.
What you do
You can withdraw the request at any point while you are waiting, at no cost. If it expires, nothing happened and nothing was charged.
Their email and phone, how they take payment, and where the RV actually is. All of it opens the moment they accept.
It is written from the owner's own terms and any clauses they added, then frozen so neither of you can change it afterwards. You both sign it, and it is your record of what you agreed. RVmigo is not a party to it.
What you do
Read it before you pay. The deposit, the mileage allowance and the cancellation terms in it are the owner's, and they are what you will be held to.
Their method, their account, their full price. A deposit now and the balance later is normal. You mark what you sent and the owner marks what arrived, so you are both looking at the same record.
What you do
Pay the way the agreement says and keep your own receipt. RVmigo never holds the money, so we cannot reverse a payment or chase one for you.
Nobody is holding a deposit, so this record is the record
Odometer, fuel, generator hours, propane and tanks, and photos. Either of you fills it in and the other confirms it. Recording the departure is what marks the trip as started.
What you do
Do it with the owner standing beside you, and photograph anything that is already damaged. This is what you will both be pointing at if you disagree later.
The same readings and the same photos, so the two sets sit side by side. Neither set is anybody's judgement of what happened. They are what you both wrote down.
What you do
Refuel and empty the tanks as the agreement asks before you hand it back. Both sets of readings are visible to you as well as the owner, so anything you are asked for is something you can check.
Miles or generator hours past the allowance the owner stated are worked out from the two sets of readings and shown to you both. You settle it directly with them. RVmigo never charges it and never holds it.
Neither review appears until you have both written one, or until 14 days have passed. The owner cannot read yours before writing theirs, and you cannot read theirs first either.
A listing, a review or a person. You don't need an account and you don't need a booking.
Keeping the record. The agreement you both signed, the payments you each marked, the readings you both confirmed and the reviews you both wrote, in one place either of you can open. RVmigo doesn't hold the money, insure the RV or decide who is right when you disagree.
